Oxygen Pawer Bubble Technology Accelerates Chickpea Germination & Early Root Development
At IIT Ropar, Punjab, Power Bubbles tested oxygen-enriched irrigation on wheatgrass to evaluate whether increased oxygen availability during the germination stage could support better plant establishment. Using the Power Bubbles N10, the trial kept the growing conditions and irrigation schedule consistent, changing only the water used for the treatment group.
The results were encouraging, with 13.68% higher seed germination and 10.40% higher overall germination, along with more uniform seed emergence and healthier early growth.
The trial demonstrates how oxygen-enriched irrigation water can help young plants achieve a stronger and more uniform start without requiring changes to conventional growing practices.
