Pond Restoration in Punjab: Reviving Bir Pind with Power Bubbles Technology

Once a vital part of the local community, the Mehrauli Community Sewage Pond in Ropar District, Punjab, had gradually become polluted due to the continuous discharge of untreated wastewater. Poor water quality, persistent foul odours, and high microbial contamination had turned the pond into an environmental concern for nearby residents.

To help restore the water body, Power Bubbles deployed the Power Bubbles N-50 Generator, supporting improved oxygen availability and natural biological activity without the use of chemicals.

The transformation was evident within just six weeks. Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) dropped by 74%, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) was reduced by 82%, and E. coli contamination declined significantly. At the same time, the unpleasant odour disappeared and the water became visibly clearer.

As the ecosystem recovered, fish and ducks were seen returning to the pond for the first time in years—a clear sign of improving environmental health.

This project demonstrates how Power Bubbles technology can help restore polluted community water bodies in a sustainable way, supporting cleaner water, healthier ecosystems, and a better quality of life for surrounding communities.
