Pond Restoration in Punjab: Reviving Bir Pind with Power Bubbles Technology
Once an important part of village life, the community pond at Bir Pind, Punjab, had gradually become polluted due to continuous sewage discharge, leading to poor water quality, foul odor, and an unhealthy environment. To help restore the pond, Power Bubbles partnered with the Punjab Rural Development Authority and installed the Power Bubbles N-50 system. By continuously enriching the water with oxygen through ultra-fine bubbles, the technology supported natural biological processes that helped improve water quality without the use of chemicals.
Over time, the pond became visibly cleaner, unpleasant odors were significantly reduced, organic pollution levels declined, and the overall ecosystem began to recover. This project demonstrates how Power Bubbles technology can provide a practical, sustainable, and scalable approach to restoring polluted community ponds.
