Nanobubbles Technology Enhances Chickpea Germination & Root Growth

At IIT Ropar, Punjab, a controlled chickpea germination trial was conducted to understand how oxygen-enriched water could influence the earliest stages of plant growth. The results showed a clear difference: seeds treated with Nanobubbles-enriched water began germinating in just 18–20 hours, compared with 25–29 hours under normal water, while overall germination reached 87–96% — up to 16% higher than the control.

Early root development was also 20–30% stronger, giving the seedlings a healthier start. What makes the trial particularly relevant is that the growing conditions remained consistent, with the water treatment being the key difference. The results highlight the potential of Nanobubbles Technology for agriculture to support faster germination and stronger early plant development.
